Laughter is not a yes

A lee laughing hard cannot always speak. That's why the signal exists. Watch for it as carefully as you'd listen for the word.

Bound means responsible

Keep airways clear and the torso free to expand — hard laughing is hard breathing. Check hands and feet every few minutes for colour and warmth. Keep safety shears within reach of the ler.

Know your dangerous spots

Sides and ribs near the floating ribs, the throat, and anywhere over a joint deserve lighter hands. Stop entirely for wheezing, dizziness, numbness, or crying that changes register.

The landing matters

Adrenaline crashes. Budget time afterwards for water, warmth, quiet and a conversation about what the engine got right and what it will never be allowed to call again.
